On behalf of my family. We send our condolences to the Megganis Family is this great loss to our community and on behalf of the residents of Caldecott Lane.
Jerry was a rare diamond cut. Words can't express the emotions we will be feeling when we go outside and we won't see Jerry out here anymore. He was ONE IN A MILLION!!!
To watch him work out here was AMAZING. I've yet to meet a man who drove a crane as he did. Aside from being a remarkable worker. We will always ADMIRE JERRY MEGGANIS for who he was. He was a honor to know. And we will all miss him terribly. Word can not describe the loss we feel over this.

Liebe Magganas Family,
In tiefer Trauer
Eure Hahn Family

Our family's deepest sympathy goes out to all of the Magganas family at this most difficult time. Jerry touched so many people along his journey. It was so difficult to share the news with Hayley when she came home for the holiday weekend. Know that she did have a few stories to share about her encounters with Jerry during those years that she and Ana played basketball together. Know too that through the sadness that your family is feeling now, that many people loved Jerry and were touched by his love for his family.

Dear Ana, Karen and Dimitri...I am broken hearted at the news of Jerry's death. We have shared a wonderful friendship for the last 10 years and I feel very close to all of you. Ana, you know how much I loved coaching you, with your toughness yet soft spoken demeanor...we have always wanted success and happiness for you. Your father was a generous, thoughful and lovely man. Janis and I will never forget tailgating after games with his wonderful olives and bread and being satisfied for hours. He was so proud of you, your friends and your abilities. He would ask how his little daughter could learn to play basketball so well...and he was always thankful for the friendships of everyone at CTK and Lady Reign. He will be missed by all that were able to truly meet him...and your memories of the loving father and supporter he was for you, will live with you forever. You are all forever in our hearts.

My husband (Ana's Coach) and I met Jerry for the first time 2 weeks ago at Ana's first Basketball game at PCC. In the first 5 minutes of the conversation that I had with him I could tell how much he loved his daughter. He was so proud of her. When he spoke of her a small tear welled in his eye. He hunched his shoulders and said, "Well what can I say, that is my daughter, my baby girl." I was so impressed with the amount of love that he freely displayed for his child. I knew then that he was an awesome father.

Met Jerry a few years ago. He rented an apartment to my girlfriend and myself. He was someone that became more than a landlord, I would call him my friend. His real life stories and wisdom came through loud and clear. This was a man that loved people and his family more than he loved himself. I will miss that little man with the big smile and strong hand shake. I will never forget him.
