RESIDENT OF SAN LEANDRO
Frank Blasques passed away peacefully, Tuesday, March 01, 2011, after a long illness. He was an avid golfer for most of his life and enjoyed the outdoors. For two decades he worked as a mechanic and supervisor at Peterbilt Motors, Newark. Later in life, he was a small business owner in San Lorenzo. Frank dutifully served his country during World War II from 1942-1945 in the Army Air Corps. stationed in Northern Africa and Italy.
He was survived by: his loving wife, Josephine Blasques; his son, Ted (Sandra), and their daughters, Donna Fischer (Guerin), Maisie Hudspeth and his sister Ann Gomes. He was preceded in death by their daughter, Judy Kihano. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, from 5:00pm ? 8:30pm, including a Rosary at 6:30pm at Holy Angels Funeral and Cremation Center, 1051 Harder Road, Hayward, CA 94542. The funeral service will be held at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum, 26320 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA 94544 on Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at 10:30am. Memorial donations may be sent to the American Kidney Fund: http://www.kidneyfund.org/
He will be dearly missed.
