Gaius Manion Obituary

Gaius Russell Manion Jan. 23, 1925 - Nov. 29, 2005 Gaius Manion, a lifelong resident of Concord, died November 29, 2005. After graduating from Mt. Diablo High School, he served our country in the US Army, where he was awarded the Purple Heart. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with his family. Gaius was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed playing golf. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joyce; daughter, Sue Anderson; son-in-law, Al; and nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to gather at the family home on Saturday, December 3, 2005, at 2:00pm. Memorial contributions are suggested in lieu of flowers to the American Cancer Society.
