Oh my goodness, I´m so sorry to hear this and so much time has passed. I worked for Gary as a receptionist at Fremont Physical Therapy. He was such a nice man, always smiling and had so much energy. Once we all pitched in and had a CD player installed in his truck so he could listen to the soundtrack from Les Miserable, a favorite of his. Another time he and Sharon invited all of us to his beautiful home for a Christmas party. I´m sorry I didn´t stay in touch. Condolences to his family . . .

I learned of Gary's passing far too late. Sharon & Gary attended the same church as my late husband, John Petersen. and I in Hayward, CA.
Gary was kind and gentle. He will be missed.

I just learned of Gary's passing, and am deeply saddened. His enthusiasm and ready smile brought joy to all. My condolences to all his family and friends, which are many. His exemplary life was an inspiration, and we are blessed for knowing him.

I was saddened to hear of Gary's passing. Gary was very sensitive and empathic. He helped me get back on my feet after a lower back injury and I'll never forget how encouraging he was. Praise the Lord he was a fellow brother in Christ!

Garl Lindahl was a very kind, generous and accessible expert regarding exercise for the low back. My phone consultations with him helped me immensely. God bless Gary and the Lindahl family.

Dear Sharon, Michelle, Melissa:
Gary means so much to Patty and me. I first knew him as the proud father of Michelle and Melissa. Later as a physical therapist who shared his passion with my high school students. Recently Gary taught me to exercise to releave my serious back pain. In all cases he was warm and caring. We will miss his humor and positive attitude. Our world is better because Gary touched lives in so many ways.

I do not believe I have ever met a man more upbeat than Gary. He could light up any room, meeting or therapy session with his happiness. It was my pleasure to know him for many years. His devotion to his patients is to be admired. He always spoke with such pride regarding his family. He was not bashful in letting anyone know of his love for his savior Jesus Christ. Gary was a classmate in Sherburn. He was always such an outgoing person. He was a positive part of our class! His father was our family Dr. It's so difficult to lose a spouse. Sharon and family - I don't know you, but Gary was introduced to us by my son, Phil Maher, then my other son, Larry Maher joined the group at Gary's place and then Mom (that's me) Marilyn Maher joined in.He was one heck of a man and he really did dedicate his life to helping others. Gary helped kick-start my weight loss and helped me start to regain my life. I will be forever grateful to him and the staff at his office. He was a loving coach and caring individual who dedicated his life to making people feel better. God bless him and keep him.

Gary was not only was physical therapist, he was my hero. He encouraged my broken body through the residual side effecys of a brain tumor for many years with an attitude of encouragement, realism and hope; I miss him. I guess there must be some angels in heaven that need SUPER SLOW too!
