George Cunningham Obituary

George E. Cunningham Resident of Livermore Memorial Services will be Saturday for George E. Cunningham (Crabtree) who died Monday, May 17th in Santa Cruz after a short illness. George was born in Hayward moving with his family to Livermore at a young age. He was a Funeral Director for four decades, serving thousands of families in the Livermore Tri-Valley Area during that time. The past eight years George has continued his funeral service career in Santa Cruz. He will be greatly missed by his wide circle of friends and his family. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, May 22 at 1:00 pm at Oakwood Memorial Chapel, 3301 Paul Sweet Rd., Santa Cruz. A reception will immediately follow the service. George was my dear friend and helped my through my cancer treatments with lots of encouragement. He loved everyone he met and charished them all especially all the young peoplehe could mentor. We should not think of his loss but think always in how fortunate you were to be one of his friends
