Gilbert Rodrigues Obituary

GILBERT A. RODRIGUES "GIDDY BOY" Passed away on March 30, 2006 at the age of 66. Born in Hawaii, he had been a resident of Hayward since 1953. He was an employee of Oakland Scavenger/Waste Management for 40 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Ruth (Mariane) R. Rodrigues; children, Debbie Rodrigues of Hayward, Stacey Gongora of French Camp, Rosalie Smith of Union City, Franklin Histo of Hayward, John Simonetti of Tracy and August Simonetti of Hayward (and their spouses); grandchildren, Aveena, David, Antoinette, Jesse, Pernell, Julia, Selena, Sabrina, Serena, Raymond, Sophia, Vicki, Johnny, Michael, Augustine and Nikki; great grandchildren, Kalia, Gabriel and Malina; brothers, Joseph M. Rodrigues of Hayward and Gabriel Rodrigues of Sunnyvale and sister, Marie Troche of Hayward. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. He will be greatly missed. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Machado's Hillside Chapel, 1051 Harder Rd., Hayward. On Wednesday, a funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., also at Machado's Hillside Chapel. A committal service will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Machado's Hillside Chapel 510-537-6600
