SHE WAS TRULY AN INSPIRATION TO US, ALL THE WAY TO THE END. SHE HAD BEEN THROUGH SO MUCH IN THE LAST YEAR AND WAS SO DETERMINED TO RECOVER.
EVEN KNOWING THE END WAS NEAR, SHE WAS SO PLEASANT AND THANKFUL TO ALL THE HOSITAL STAFF AND THE FAMILY THAT WAS THERE WITH HER.
SHE IS IN A BETTER PLACE AND IN HER OWN WORDS, " I WANT TO BE WITH MIKE, I MISS HIM SO MUCH".
DON'T BE SAD SHE IS GONE, BE HAPPY THAT SHE FINALLY GOT WHAT SHE REALLY, TRULY WANTED AND THAT WAS TO BE BACK WITH GRANDPA AGAIN.
I LOVED THAT WOMAN SO MUCH, I AM A BETTER MAN FOR JUST HAVING KNOWN HER.

I know my dear Aunt Grace will be missed by many people. I saw the effect she had on my wife, and others, when they first met and have had many wonderful conversations about her, with people that know her. Everybody agrees that she was remaarkable, endearing, and a genuinely sweet lady, like few they ever knew. I think it evidence to her virtues when I look at her offspring and their offspring. She truly touched many lives. I never met anyone that could keep my attention so well, and peek my curiosity like she, about things that normally would have meant nothing to me.
My dad, her brother-in-law told me the story of "George and Emmy", that couple that Uncle Mike and Aunt Grace, along with my dad, Doss Robbins, had picked up hitch-hiking when on their way to California, in the 1930's. Mike and Doss always called each other George after that, and Aunt Grace, she was Emmy. I will never forget Aunt Grace and I will miss her dearly.

Grandma, you told me that god has a plan for everyone and a reason for everything he does I try to remember that whenever times are tough "Can't is a beggar to lazy to try"

Dearest Aunt Grace:
What a wonderful lady you were. You showed us how women can be independent and a part of a wonderful family. It had been too long since I last saw you, but I thought of you often. Two things I will always remember: your 50th wedding anniversary and visits with you and Uncle Mike. You leave a great legacy, and to agree with Barbara ... you were a great "Great Aunt".

Leave it to Grandma to bring us all together. This past weekend, though sad, was wonderful. I was reintroduced to many relatives I haven't seen in over 30yrs. We have many pictures to remember this weekend and hopefully it won't take an event like this to bring us back together. It was wonderful seeing all of you again.
Goodbye doesn't work here. See you later Grandma, you will be missed.

I DIDN'T GET TO KNOW GRANDMA UNTIL I WAS A YOUNG ADULT BECAUSE SHE LIVED SO FAR AWAY. BUT WHENEVER I'D MAKE IT TO CALIFORNIA, WE'D VISIT AND WE FORMED A GREAT BOND. I REMEMBER DEARLY THE TRIP TO YOSEMITE. GRANDMA CAME ALONG CAMPING AS WELL, SAT OUT BY THE CAMPFIRE AND JOINED IN THE CHAOS. SHE WAS VERY TOLERANT OF OUR GOOFINESS AND MOST OF ALL, GOT OUR SARCASM. SHE WAS EASY TO JOKE WITH BECAUSE SHE COULD DISH IT RIGHT BACK. TOO FUN!!! BUT I COULD DO WITHOUT THE FRUITCAKE- YUK!!! I KNOW YOU'RE WATCHING OUT FOR US FROM UP THERE. I MISS YOU!

I remember the first time I attended a birthday party for Grandma. Every child, grandchild, great grandchild in the area attended. I was amazed by how close the family was and is. To think it all started with her and Grandpa. What a wonderful legacy to leave with. It is an incredible testament to the love and respect everyone felt for such a fine lady.

Aunt Grace, I will miss you very much...I will always cherish our visits. Although they were few and far between, they were extremely meaningful to me. You were the best "great" Aunt anyone could ask for.

Grandma was the best, alot of the little things that others overlook. The most important thing I think Grandma taught me was how important family is and how important it is to let everyone know how much they mean to you. So in case I forgot to mention to you all that I love being in this family and feel real blessed to be a Robbins.

What a wonderful person to have known my whole life. She was a fantastic Mom, Grandma and Aunt to everyone in the extended Robbins family. I thought of her as my Mom after mine passed away a number of years ago. Speaking for Marlene and I we loved her dearly and will never forget the many great visits/conversations we enjoyed over the many years.

Mrs. Robbins was the sweetest little lady I ever new. She didn't take any crap from anyone! I love her for that! She was the Mother and Grandmother to my very best friends. All of my grandparents passed away when I was real young. Grace told me to call her Grandma. How cool is that? Grandma, you will allways be missed and loved from this heart.
