Grace Vivian Winston

1925 - 2008 Resident of Oakland Born August 4, 1925 in Glen Ferris, W.VA., Grace passed away peacefully in her home in Oakland on November 21, 2008. Grace was the 8th child born to Reverend Frank and Mrs. Mamie Dillard. She was the last surviving of her siblings. Grace was the loving mother of Belinda Winston and Keith Winston of Oakland and Gerald Winston of Antioch, and the widow of Davis R. Winston of San Francisco. She was a beloved mother-in-law, aunt, great aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother. She retired from the U.S. Postal Service (Rincon Annex) in 1986. A memorial service will be held in her honor on Monday, December 1 at 2 pm at the Satellite Central Senior Housing Complex, 540 21st Street, Oakland. "Mom, you will truly be missed!"
