Ingrid was born in Los Angeles, CA to Eloise Taylor Williams and Earl Williams. She was raised in Los Angeles and graduated from Jordon High School in 1964. She attended Arizona State University and University of California Berkeley; she was awarded B.S. and MBA degrees, respectively. She was a Certified Public Accountant. After finishing school she married Franklin Smith and moved to Northern California - Emeryville then to Alameda. Franklin preceded her in death and she married Clarence Epps.
Ingrid was employed with Emeryville School District and BBI Construction where she last served as Vice President of Finance. She enjoyed cruising, sewing, cooking, playing classical piano and making floral arrangements.
Ingrid is survived by her husband Clarence, father Earl Williams of Compton, CA, brothers Reginald Nobles and Everett (Charlotte) Williams of Compton, sisters Peggy and Deirdre Williams of the Los Angeles area; and from Clarence's family-mother Alma Epps, brother Robert (Dorothy) Epps, sisters Katherine Burrell, and Yvonne (Charles) Newsome, children Erica and Terrence Epps.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Transforming Love Christian Center, 1349 Hays St., San Leandro, CA, 94577. Burial will be private.
