To the Cox Family:
I am very sad to learn of the passing of Jim. I met he and Nancy at Spanish Immersion Camp in Sacremento, NM in 1998. We stayed in touch and I last visited him in early 2014. He and Nancy were very special. He was humorous and very sharp. I admired him a lot.
My prayers are with you.
Sincerely,
Harland Abraham

I worked as a legal secretary for Mr Cox in the early 1980s. He was very professional and commanded respect but a delightful character at the same time. He enjoyed a good joke. I'll always remember his black lab Betta who adored him!

Jim, you were one of a kind. We had some great trips together from Costa Rica to British Columbia to fish. Much I learned about trying lawsuits I learned from my 9 years of working with you as one of the best.
As one of your last two living nephews, my God smile on you and hope you see Besta, Jack and mom soon. Hope the fishing is great there. Tony

Mr. Cox,
Sir, as a fellow Marine I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USMC during WW II-especially at Iwo Jima. It was the history and accomplishments made by you and your fellow Marines back then that all us Marines who have followed in your footsteps have always tried to live up to. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
Semper Fi Devil Dog!
