Jeff Radar Obituary

JEFF SCOTT RADAR Passed away unexpectedly on February 20, 2003. Jeff was born on November 5, 1970 in Oakland, CA and had lived in Danville for the majority of his life. Jeff was a free spirit who loved music. He frequently worked as a crew-member for rock bands, including Tesla, Great White, Moon Dog Mane, Poison, Ratt, Alice Cooper and Ted Nugent over the last ten years. He loved traveling on tours, and enjoyed meeting people and exploring new cities. Jeff collected rock band memorabilia, and had collected more than 1500 t-shirts, posters, photo's and autographs. Jeff was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan since his early childhood, and he collected M & M souveniers. He loved playing drums, rock climbing, biking, and was a caring and loving son, brother, grandson and friend. Jeff worked for over 10 years with his best friend/business partner Duane Serfass in I-Wear Graphics & Tour Promotions doing logo designs, cover artwork, t-shirts and web designs. Jeff's carefree spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially his parents, Jeannie Rader of Danville; Ralph Rader III and Pamela Deas Rader, also of Danville; brother and sister-in-law, Ralph Rader IV and Evonne Rader, and nephew & niece, Josh and Ashley Rader, all of San Ramon; his grandmother, Marian Hoener of El Cerrito; aunts and uncles, Carole and Frank Thompson of Martinez; Linda and Danilo Fabbri of Berkeley; cousins, Steve Thompson of Concord and Marilyn Quinn of Martinez, as well as many friends. A Celebration of Jeff's life will be held Sunday, March 9, 2003 1:00 p.m. at the San Ramon Community Center 12501 Alcosta Blvd., San Ramon, CA. In keeping with Jeff's generosity, his family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the American Red Cross of Rhode Island 105 Gano Street Providence, RI 02906. Family and friends are welcome to visit Jeff's website at www.IwearGraphics.com for information or to leave messages. WILSON & KRATZER CHAPEL OF SAN RAMON VALLEY (925) 820-2999
