Dear Britto and Mattie Families, It´s now been 10 years since JoAnn left this earth for her heavenly home. I met JoAnn at the summer between 6th and 7th grade at a little league park in Hayward where her Dad Jo Britto was coaching his sons team, my Dad, Vern (Chris) was coaching my brother´s team! Joann and I were always there watching our brothers. We became lifelong friends. I loved her family, spent many over nighters, we remained friends throughout the years. I saw her a few days before she left this life for eternity with her Lord, Jesus. I miss her, her voice, her smile; her sense of humor, her wisdom, you´s guys statements, all she did to take care of the many kids, grands, great grands that she was entrusted with, those who were not blood related, but were family, (like we were). She´s left behind so many to carry on her legacy of love. Someday, we will see each other again my dear friend. Ruth Ann (Christensen) McKenzie.

My Dearest Gram,
I really wish we could've made it today, but I know you know we were there in spirit. Oh how I wish I could hear your voice, and the encouraging words you always had to say. I sure miss our long talks and would give anything if we could have you back even for only one day. Please continue to watch over us all, our precious guardian angel and help guide us all to do better. Until we meet again Gram, I will forever be grateful for the time we shared. Precious Kisses, Squeezing Hugs, and Infectious Smiles sent to heaven especially for you! We love and miss you ❣

My Auntie JoAnn was the strongest woman I know, yet she was very gentle & kind. She will be missed by so many. May she rest in peace with her brothers Joe & Bobby and parents Joseph & Ann Britto. They are our angels in heaven. My heart goes out to my cousins Joelle, Theresa, & JC, may the happy memories bring you all strength in the days ahead. Lots of love from Lisa & the Acosta & Britto family.

Dear Gram,
Im so very glad you are not suffering anymore, but we all miss you more than words can explain. Your battle was very long, but you fought with every bit of everything you had and it showed. You were the strongest, bravest, most selfless woman I have ever met and I am so lucky to have had the honor to have you in my life!! I will forever cherish the many wonderful memories we have had. You truly touched so many lives and helped so many people, just like a Mother Teresa. You were like a mother to me and the Best Grandmother to my kids. We all love you very much and will continue to miss you with each passing day. May you rest in paradise Gramma Joann, you deserve it!! I'm very blessed to have another Guardian Angel to watch over me and our family!! I hope my Dad and Gramma Debbie find you in heaven so they too can meet One of the Best People to have walked on Earth!! I will forever miss our long talks, your encouraging words, the touch of your soft hands and your beautiful smile. Thank you for everything Gram, you will be forever loved and tremendously missed.
Love Always and 4ever,
