What a wonderful educator Fr. Brock was! I took 4 yrs of Latin and Band and to this day my command of the english language began and ended with him. He married my wife and me. He was unique and I will surely miss him

Fr. Brock was a great, great teacher. I almost majored in Latin because of him. He made us work hard and gave us a love of the mechanics and beauty of Latin. He demanded excellence and had little toleration for wasting one's mind. He is one of those teachers I'll remember forever.

Fr. Brock will be forever be etched in my memory as one of my most outstanding teachers at St. Joe. He taught me 2 years of Latin, the couse I loved and hated. He was very demanding of his students, but laughter was part of every class! He commanded admiration and respect and I am thankful for how he expanded my basic knowledge and understanding of language. He was truly one-of-a-kind.
Nos tutus vos, Fr. Brock!

I remember my first day of Latin I class at St. Joe with Father Brock. I came home thinking what a long year it was going to be. Surprisingly, because of his knowledge and eagerness to teach, I soon found myself looking forward to his class and signed up for Latin II the following year. He was an excellent teacher who really cared that we learn as much as possible. Please accept my sympathies for your loss.
