My kids and Kaitlin were in the same children's theater plays at then Harmony Players several years ago. Kim was always positive, encouraging and supportive of her daughter and to the rest of the cast. What a warm spirit. We also talked about our own walk with Christ. She finally met Him and He will comfort her now, and He will forever watch over her girls. God continue to bless her beautiful spirit.

I write on behalf of the class.. It's unfortunate to hear of such news. I remember the couple moments we shared talking, and it always was based on your wife's heritage.. I cannot express my sorrow, but I hope that you may carry on and take care. Our class gives you our blessings, and thanks for being such a cool teacher.. it made attending night classes all the more bearable.

Although I did not have the opportunity of meeting Kim, I am a part of her church family and feel the loss of this special lady through what I have heard and read.

As I sit to write my entry I am listening to Bob Fitts sing, "Your Love is Better than Life." These words ministered the Lord's comfort to me on Monday, day after what was shared about Kim at church. May her family know and sense God's presence during this difficult time through these words that have touched my grieving heart...

"Your love is better than life. All I really need is You. In a dry and thirsty land, My soul is longing for You. Lord, You're the Bread of Life. Only You can satisfy. Come fill this heart of mine. With Your sweet love divine. We're singing hallelujah. And we're singing hallelujah. Hallelujah. Amen."

God bless Kim's family with His peace and tender touch...

To Tom, and to Kim's beautiful little girls, please know that in spite of the great distance and the years that have passed, we have always had a special place in our hearts for your family. Kim is the sister in Christ we have the pleasure of remembering as one who always had a warm smile and an encouraging word. What a beautiful person she is, and we are profoundly saddened by the news of her passing. We will continue to remember you in our prayers, and even through this difficult time, believe God to uphold you with His strength and grace.

To Stef, the Berdal Family and McCurry Family...

I'm so saddened by the loss of such a beautiful person. Please know that we are thinking of you and everyone. Ever since I've known Stef... way back in high school... I've always known of "Ate Kim". And when she had her 3 beautiful girls - I would see her or the girls with Stef at parties. She's in God's hands now. And faith in Him will help get through this unbearable loss. If there is ANYTHING you need... I just hope you won't hesitate to ask... and that I can be there for you...

Love, Nat, JR, Jerrald & Jalen

I will truly miss her smile and inviting presence. I saw Kim as a role model. She was supermom...she could do it all..and still smile about it. Kim will be missed by so many. She has touched my life I am going to really miss her.

From my family to the Berdal's and the McMurry's, our prayers are with you all during this time of your painful loss. Being a friend of Stef's, I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know Kim from the time when Kaitlin was just a toddler. I will always remember Kim as being a reliable "ate" (sister),loving daughter, nurturing mother, kind friend, excellent student, and a supportive wife. Although she has left us temporarily on earth, I strongly trust that we will see her again...

Words are so limiting at times such as this. I had the pleasure of getting to know Kim as my classmate. We shared a great deal of our life experiences, love of family and our mutually sustsaining faith. My memories of Kim will not end with this week. It will be my continuing pleasure, to hold her and your family in intimate prayer, until such time as our Lord and heavenly father returns to take us all home.
