Kyle Jonathan Lauck

Kyle Lauck Obituary

Kyle Jonathan Lauck Kyle was taken from us suddenly on April 19, 2007 after a short battle with leukemia. He was 27 years old. A California native, he was a graduate of San Ramon Valley High School and Expression Center for New Media in Emeryville. Most recently he was employed as a motion graphic artist in San Francisco. Kyle was always willing to share his creative spirit and imagination with others. He enjoyed hiking, fishing, and organizing get-togethers with his friends. Kyle's illness has effected the lives of his family and friends in so many ways. We are deeply grateful for the 27 years we had with him. Kyle is survived by his parents, Steve & Janet Lauck; his sisters, Stephanie & Anne; his fiancée, Dawn Ladd; his grandparents, Angelo & Gloria Massetti; his aunts and uncles, Bill & Carol Walters and Bill & Karen Massetti, and their children Jen, Alison, Brett and Megan. Services will be held at Christ the King Church in Pleasant Hill on Friday, April 27, 2007 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made in Kyle's name to the Leukemia Society or your favorite charity.

I hadn't spoken to you in too long and wouldn't have known what happened if your myspace name hadn't changed. You were a dear friend and I know you always will be. I hope to always share your memory with everyone else who loved you. God bless.

Dear Lauck Family,
I have struggled to find the words to say to you since Kyle passed. You raised a phenomenal son who touched the lives of everyone he met. My heart breaks for you and I hope that Kyle's spirit will help you to heal from this tremendous loss. I feel so blessed that I was able to have him in my life as a good friend for 11 years. Kyle, you will always be in my heart.
Love,
Kari

Kyle,

We remember so well the many times you were in our home, laughing and sharing your warmth and kindness with us all. Those memories will be with us forever...it's not fair that we lost you so soon, but will try to take comfort in the knowledge that you are at peace in your new Home. We will miss you and treasure the times we spent together...

kyle was a unique, creative, funny, kind, giving and truly amazing guy. i miss talking to kyle.. he was so easy to talk to. i feel like i blinked and he was ok... i blinked again.. and he was gone. it's so unfair that he had to be taken so soon, but i know he knew how much he was loved. i will forever miss kyle... and my heart goes out to everyone who feels this loss.

Kyle, I love you so much and your passing cannot ever take that away from me. I will treasure every second I had with you and I feel like a huge part of me is gone. I know you are in a better place with no pain and I hope you know that so many people are lost without you.
You will always be part of my soul.
Dawn
