Larry Edward Dover

Larry Edward Dover May 1, 1937 - Feb. 13, 2006 Larry Dover died in San Pablo at the age of 68. A native of Oklahoma, Larry was raised in California and Nebraska, returning to California after graduating from Brunswick High School in Nebraska. He was a member of the Retail Clerks Union and worked for Lucky Stores for 32 years. He loved all types of fishing, bird watching, and trips to Reno. Larry is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Betty; by his mother, Kathleen Ebel; daughters Christine and Kathy, sons Tim and Steve; grandchildren Bridget Dover, Jesse, Matt and A.J. Gerdes; brother Ted Dover; sister Susan Ebel; sons-in-law Robert Hamm and Scott Gerdes, and many brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Ken Chin and to the staff at KPPACC in San Leandro, and also to friends of the family. A private service for the family is planned. Memorial contributions are suggested in lieu of flowers to the charity of your choice.
