Lois was my very first mentor in my very first attorney position with Ericksen. Today was the first day I learned of her passing. I was in a nostalgic frame of mind and thought, I wonder what Lois us up to? I am truly saddened that she is no longer with us. She was not only a spectacular attorney and mentor, she was a very special person. Lois, I wish you well on your new journey.

I worked as co-counsel with Lois on a tough case. She was always prepared, warm and professional. I discovered this notice of her untimely passing when trying to locate her for an impossible case and she was the only attorney I could think of that could have handled the controversies. Rest In Peace dear lady and my heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.

Lois,
While we never got the opportunity to meet, I will never forget that wonderful card you sent me this past holiday season. It was apparent by your warm message and kind-hearted gesture that you were an amazing, courageous and Down to Earth person. Please know we will never forgot you. Godspeed.

I've known Lois since our days as students at Golden Gate University when we commuted back and forth from Concord. Even then, I knew she would succeed. We always kept in touch after I left CA. She took time out of her busy schedule to get together and have dinner with me whenever I came back to visit. She always approached life with humor, grace and tact. She was a treasured friend and I will miss her.

We will miss Lois at the annual Super Bowl party. She added an exciting dynamic to the event. She was a great, intelligent person.

I worked with Lois for 15 years in Oakland. More than a skilled and resourceful attorney, she was a wonderful and caring person. I loved her wit and sense of humor. We are all better for having known her.

Lois will be deeply missed. I worked as her associate at Ericksen Arbuthnot. Not only was Lois my boss--she was The Boss! (I can hear her rich laughter now as I write this.) She truly mentored me, and I will always be very grateful to her. She taught me so much.

Mrs. Lindstrom was my very first "boss" in the united States. She was indeed a very caring person who was always after the welfare and success of the people who work under her supervision. I will always remember her words of encouragement. I am so sorry to hear of her illness and demise. My sincere and deepest condolence to her family.

Lois was above all a caring, kind and fair minded woman. I worked with Lois for over 20 years, and while she was a very accomplished and dedicated attorney, her personal qualities were what made her truly exceptional. I feel grateful to have known her for so long. She will be sorely missed.
