Lorraine M. Pagni

1929 - 2023

Lorraine Pagni, age 93, entered peacefully into rest in Pleasanton, CA, on January 2, 2023. Born in Tracy, California to Emilia and Victor Costa. Lorraine spent her youth in Patterson, California before raising her family in San Lorenzo, CA. Lorraine was a member of St. John's Catholic Church where she was a Eucharistic minister, a member of St. Gerard's women's club, taught Faith formation and was always willing to lend a hand to any committee that needed help. She worked for Hallmark Stores and found her calling as a volunteer at St Rose Hospital in Hayward. For many years she worked in the gift shop, helped with the front desk, patients, and belonged to the auxiliary, where she was president and volunteered for many fundraisers.Lorraine was an artist, always painting, crocheting, knitting and making many crafts for craft fairs. These talents and her love of reading live on in the talents of her children and grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 74 years, Louis Pagni, Sr. and is survived by her six children, Lou Jr (Marti), David, Diane, Laura (Bob), Daniel (Michelle), and Doreen (Kahl), 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Lorraine was attentive and caring to her family, her friends and those she served in her many volunteer roles. She will be greatly missed.Service to be held on January 17, 2023 at Grissom's Mortuary. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to: Alzheimer's Foundation of America or Cancer Society.
