Taking You Home (For Mom, with love forever)
Come to Me, enter the light at Heaven’s gate
Colors of life amid the flowers, your final Peace and we await
Joy at last the Music reaching the stars
Coming forward to your resting place
Life continues the Mystery we Ponder
Time to remember, so much to remember
How we loved you going to God
Alive with the grass, pray for us now
Beckoning us to see you and touch you
So much to say, goodbyes too late
We go on remembering you the journey continuing.
The family gathers, Mom coming to Dad
And he with us singing your praise, celebrating your being
He, with us, seeing you in the blooming roses
Joining you, embracing you
Pondering the Mystery no longer
Your deserved rest taking you home.

From Mom's own hand: "I cannot say, and I will not say that I have died. I am just away. With a cheery smile and a wave of my hand, I have wandered into another land and left you dreaming how very fair it must be because I linger There. So think of me faring on, as dear as the love of There as the love of Here. Think of me still as the same, I say. I am not dead. I am just away.

Mom, I miss you terribly but I know in my heart and through my faith that you are so happy with God and all your loved ones. Your memory lives on in our hearts. Much love and prayer, Laurie
