Peter Chelucci Obituary
Peter Joseph Chelucci died July 7, 2002 at Mt. Diablo Medical Center. He was 79. A native of Sardinia, Italy, Peter had been a long time resident of Concord. He was the former owner of Solano Foods and had worked all his life in the grocery business. Peter served our country in the United States Air Force during WW II and enjoyed hunting, fishing and bocci ball. He is survived by his son Dr. Kenneth Chelucci of Maumee, Ohio; his daughters Lisa Stark and husband Doug, Sandy Gietzen and husband Craig and Diane Thompson and husband Brent, all of Concord; a brother Etto Chelucci of Alameda; and by grandchildren Doug and Joseph Stark, Ryan, Shelby and Evan Gietzen, Chase, Drew and Nick Thompson and Kevin and Kristin Chelucci. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 11, 2002 from 9 to 10:30 A.M. at Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel, 4125 Clayton Rd., Concord. The Funeral Liturgy will also be on Thursday, July 11th at 11 A.M. at St. Agnes Church, 3966 Chestnut Avenue, Concord. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, San Pablo.
