Ralph Foy Obituary

Resident of Antioch, CA
Ralph L. Foy, Jr. passed away due to complications from cancer at 81. Ralph was born in Oakland and a lifelong resident of Antioch, CA. Ralph earned his BA in Economics from UC Berkeley after graduating from Antioch High School and serving in the US Army, Intelligence Division. Ralph proudly served as a Juvenile Probation Officer with Alameda County for 30 years. Ralph's interests included his Triumph TR6 roadster, classical music, family genealogy, and going to the river. He is survived by longtime partner Verdell "Birdie" Faison and family, children Jennifer "Mag" Tressler and Jonathan "JR" Foy, one grandson, and sisters Pat Niemeyer and Kathy Miller. No public services will be held. Donations to a classical music-based organization and prayers welcome.
