Richard Kurakazu Obituary

Late of Albany
Rick passed away in Fairfield, at the age of 88 years. He is survived by his brother, Jerry Kurakazu; sisters-in-law, Jane Kurakazu, Asako Yoshimine, and Yoshiko Kawamoto; brother-in-law, Shig Yoshimine; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Ayako Kurakazu in 2002. Rick spent the past nearly five years with Nisi, his 24-hour caregiver. Nisi learned how to make all his favorite foods, including takuan. At Rick's request, no services will be held. The family would like to thank all his friends who called over the past several years to see how he was doing.
