Robin Lee Beck, age 84, has entered into eternity with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She fought bravely with unwavering faith and determination, but ultimately lost her battle with colon cancer on May 30, 2021.
Robin was born to Milton and Wilma Russell on January 9, 1937 in Woodland, California. She spent her childhood in Madison and graduated from nearby Esparto High School in 1954. She married Gary Williams and had two children, Jim and Patti. Through life's twists and turns she became a single parent and went to work at Woodland High School.
In 1971, she married Ken Beck and moved to Brentwood. Robin and Ken enjoyed 35 wonderful years together. Robin worked as secretary to the Principal at Liberty High School for over 25 years before retiring in 1997. She was a devoted member of Calvary Community Church and cherished the decades-long friendships she made there. She volunteered & participated in many church ministries.
Robin lived life to the fullest. She was known for her infectious smile and kind, compassionate spirit. She was an avid gardener and was known especially for her beautiful roses and chrysanthemums. She was an excellent cook and loved canning and sharing the fruits and vegetables from her gardens. She enjoyed traveling and took many memorable trips over the years, with family trips to British Columbia, Alaska, and Hawaii standing out as highlights.
Robin is survived by her children Jim Williams (Mary), Patti Leek (Bob), step-children Katherine Landsberg and David Beck (Heather), grandsons Kyle Emley, Matthew Williams, Lucas Cobb, granddaughter Amry Landsberg; and great-grandson Evan Emley. She is also greatly missed by her beloved Corgi, Clementine.
We are grateful for the loving and compassionate care provided by Hospice East Bay.
Funeral services will be held June 15, 2021 at 2 pm at Grace Bible Fellowship, 657 McClarren Road, Brentwood. Graveside interment will be June 16, 2021 at 11am at Capay Cemetery.
