Sadako Mori Obituary

SADAKO (SADA) MORI Entered into rest on March 13, 2004 at the age of 95 in Oakland, California, with her sons present. Born to Tokutaro and Toyo Oishi on May 11, 1908 in San Jose, California. Predeceased by her husband, Masao (1988). Survived by her loving sons, William (Frances) of San Leandro and James of Oakland, her grandsons, Daniel (Carol) of Belmont and David (Tina) of Livermore, and her great-grandchildren, Tiffany of Belmont and Brandon of Livermore. Also survived by her beloved sister, Maryon (Frank) Suzuki of Winton, her sister-in-law, Juen (Masao-deceased) Oishi of Oakland, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Tokutaro and Toyo Oishi of Oakland, brothers, Ben (Yuki) Oishi of Los Angeles, Tatsuya (Toshiko) Oishi of Sasayama, Japan and Masao Oishi of Oakland, and sister, Junko, as a child. A member of the Japanese American Citizens League. A private memorial service was held on March 27 at Chapel of the Chimes in Oakland.
