Amelia "Mimi" R. Kosmo Bloom

FREMONT: Amelia "Mimi" R. Kosmo Bloom, 66, of St. Thomas Dr., Fremont passed away at home on Tuesday, May 08, 2012 after a long battle with Huntington's disease. She was born on April 1, 1946 in Mobile, AL, the daughter of the late Jack F. and Marie L. (Douglas) Ross, III.

Mimi married Jeff Kosmo and had two daughters. She then married Charles E. Bloom on June 24, 1995 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. She was a member of St. Paul's Church where she worked as a secretary for many years and was involved in the Altar Guild.

She was active in Girl Scouts.

Mimi enjoyed traveling, visiting her family and vacationing on the Gulf Shore in Alabama. She was happiest in or on the water.

Mimi is survived by her husband, Charles E. Bloom of Fremont, OH; daughters, Katherine (Brian) Metz of Howell, MI, Michelle (Kevin) Larkins of Fremont, OH; siblings, Jack Ross IV and Carol Ross, both of Mobile, AL; grandchildren, Jack and Michael Metz.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church at later date.

Memorials can be made to Huntington's Disease Society of America (HDSA), 505 Eight Ave Suite 902, NY NY 10018.

Arrangements were entrusted to Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory.
