Stephen James David

STEPHEN JAMES DAVID Age 88 of San Mateo died peacefully on February 22, 2002. Stephen is survived by his wife of 61 years, Louise David (Richter). He will be forever loved in the memories and hearts of his five children and their families: Stephen David, Jr., Richard &Regenia David, Margaret &Warren Pettis, Allen &Cindy David, and Gary David. Stephen is survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents James &Anna David, and siblings, Ben, Bill and George David and Marcy Moore. He grew up in Montgomery, MN and farmed there for 52 years. He moved to San Mateo and worked until age 84 for his sons Stephen and Allen in the family business. He loved to fish, bowl and spend time with his sons sailing. His life was filled with love and joy, he will be forever loved and remembered by his family, friends and relatives. "Let the light of your face shine upon us, O Lord. You have filled my heart with greater joy, I will lie down and sleep in peace for you alone, O Lord". Services will be conducted Wednesday, February 27, 2002 at 7 PM at the O"Connell's Chapel, 1311 S. El Camino Real, San Mateo. Interment will be in Montgomery, MN.
