Thomas Hulse Obituary

Thomas Edward Hulse Former Resident of Pleasanton Happy Birthday Dad, we miss you and love you. Thomas (Tom) Hulse was born on October 7th, 1942, and passed away peacefully on June 27th, 2007, with his family surrounding him. He will be deeply missed by those who knew him. He was a native Californian, former resident of Danville, former resident of Pleasanton from 1977-1987, and most recently a resident of Fairfield. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, husband, and son. Tom is survived by his three sons Richard, Scott, and Matthew, his three grandchildren Dustin and Nicole of Fairfax Station, VA, and Scott Jr. of San Ramon, CA, his two daughter in-laws Donna Hulse of Fairfax Station, VA, and Lisa Hulse, of San Ramon, CA, and his two brothers Eric and Alex. In Heaven, he is reunited with his wife of 23 years, Connie, mother of Richard, Scott, and Matthew. He was the son of the late Edward and Lillian Hulse, of Danville. Tom had several passions in life, including sports cars, children and family. He was described as a charming individual by those who knew him, and he developed many relationships with those he had met. He loved fishing, or perhaps it was the idea of fishing, in remote places around areas he lived. He was both an idealist, and an adventurer, who always valued his family above everything. He had a distinguished 28 year career at General Motors, and retired in 1998. He graduated from San Ramon Valley High School, class of 1960, and San Jose State College, class of 1964, where he met his wife and built a close family. Private services were conducted with friends and family, and the family requests any memorials in Tom's name be made to the Audubon Society.
