Timothy Flannigan Obituary

Timothy John Flannigan Age 53, of Austin, TX and formerly of San Antonio, TX, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2005. He was born on February 28, 1952 in Los Angeles, California to John and Mary Jane (Barrett) Flannigan. Timothy graduated with a Masters Degree from the University of Southern California. He enjoyed fitness and exercising, playing tennis, and loved to spend time outdoors and hiking. He was a great success in business as a retail consultant for The Partnering Group but he was an even greater success as a devoted husband, father, son, brother and uncle. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 28 years, Susan Flannigan of Austin; sons James and Kenneth Flannigan of Austin; step-daughter Kristin Tracewell of Grass Valley, CA; mother Jane Flannigan of Castro Valley, CA; brothers Michael Flannigan of Anaheim, CA and Patrick Flannigan of Livermore, CA; sisters Sister Sharon Flannigan of Castro Valley, CA and Sheila Flannigan of Vancouver, WA; and goddaughter Adrienne Arnerich of Dublin, CA. He also leaves behind his beloved canine companions, Katie, Mikey and Lucy. He is preceded in death by his father, the late John Flannigan. There will be a visitation with the family from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2005 at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home, 9700 Anderson Mill Road, Austin, Texas 78750. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home. The family asks that donations be made in Tim's memory to the Sisters of the Holy Family for their charitable works. P.O. Box 3248, Fremont, CA 94539. I remember when Tim was a infant when his mother would bring him to Bishop O'Dowd. I was in Mike's class of '56. I also worked with Tim at Lucky stores. My condolences to the family. May he rest in peace.
