I'm saddened at the great loss. Of such a dear gentleman whom I've grown so fond of. My name is Gennie, from the very first day I met Mr. King he welcomed me with a soft smile. I will never forget the third time I seen him and said hello Mr. King, and reached my hand out to shake his, he told me that was enough of Mr. King, he wanted me to call him Tony. I smiled and agreed. That day when I left I walked over to him as I always did to shake his hand goodbye he stood and gave me a GREAT big hug. From then on we always gave each other a hug and I called him Dad. Mark and I would go over just about every week to visit his Mom and Dad, we had such a good time going there for sure, if we did not go we would call. Dad and I would have such long talks about the family, Mark and himself as a child to current. He taught me all about farming I really learned a lot from him, I can't wait to plant my own garden. Dad has the best tasting tomatoes I've ever tasted. He shared many fond family memories with me he made me laugh. At times we would go over for Mark and his Dad to watch sports together. My granddaughter Analaya would go sometimes, Dad was always so patient with her trying to get her to open up and talk to him, she is so shy. Sometimes when leaving he would always tell me you know you are ALWAYS welcome here day or night with or without Mark. I definitely am going to truly miss him. My heart goes out to Janice (Mom) and the family.
