Vivian Barraza Obituary

VIVIAN ZEE BARRAZA Passed away peacefully on October 14, 2002, surrounded by family and friends in Oakland. Although only 48, she lived a full and rewarding life, touching many with her warmth, sensitivity and humor. Vivian was a dedicated Nurse Practitioner in the OB/GYN department at Oakland Kaiser for 18 years and will be lovingly remembered by her many friends, co-workers and patients. Vivian was an extraordinary woman who was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She loved to travel and go camping with her family. Vivian enjoyed gardening, fishing and playing with our dog, Lucas. Vivian will be missed greatly by her husband Jaime, young sons Matthew and Andrew, father Bei-Ken and mother E. Vong, sisters Linda, Jean, Diana and Cynthia, brother Vincent, nieces Elaine, Cecilia and Kristin, nephews Colin, Kyle, Ryan and Jonathan. Memorial services will be held at 3:58 PM on Sunday, October 20, 2002 at the Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Ave., Oakland. Donations can be made in Vivian's name to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (www.leukemia-lymphoma.org). CHAPEL OF THE CHIMES SERVICE OF MARKED DISTINCTION OAKLAND, 510-654-0123
