Bill and I shared ministry at Springbrook Assembly of God and Alamo Christian Assembly churches. He was our choir director, and singles ministry leader; I was pastor's secretary at the time. Bill was a good friend and had a heart for the hurting. I think he desired to bring people closer to the Lord, and wanted people to open up fully to all the depths of that relationship. He is where we all desire to be; in permanent and constant communion. My heart goes out to Betty, Don and all of Bill's dear ones.

I have so many wonderful memories of Pastor Bill. I credit him with my still being a Christian to this day. He spent many hours making sure that I was well grounded and secure in my faith. He was also a very good friend, and will be missed by many. Atleast until we meet again. One of my favorite fun memories of Bill is when he stuck the suction cup for a small basketball hoop to his forehead, and when he removed it, there was a hickey like bruise, the perfectly round shape of the suction cup right in the center of his forehead that lasted for quite a while. We used to joke that it was a symbol of the annointing of the Holy Spirit. We did so many outreaches, and attended so many different functions, concerts etc...The memories will continue. I am very thankful to have known him this side of Heaven, and I look forward to seeing him there. Betty, may God bless you, and strengthen you as you continue on here with us for the time being. I love you too.
