WILLIAM H. BANDY 85, died April 20, 2002, in Oakland, CA, where he lived for 65 years. Beloved husband of Angeline Bandy of 50 years who preceded him in death since 1987. Loving father of Tom Bandy of Tracy, CA, and dear father-in-law of Kathy Bandy also of Tracy. Dear grandfather of Richard Bandy of San Lorenzo, CA; Beverly Stevens of Oakley, CA; Michelle Shoeffler of Castro Valley, CA; and Anthony & Daniel Bandy of Livermore, CA. Dearest best friend of Joe & Katie Pimentel of San Lorenzo, CA. William was a member of the Oaks Club in Emeryville, CA; and a long standing member of the American Legion. He loved a good game of cards & a cocktail with close friends. He spent endless weekends on the family boats fishing & having a cocktail with family & close friends. William owned & operated H&M Auto Wrecking in Oakland. He was a decorated WWII veteran. Graveside services 1 p.m., April 26, 2002, at Oakmont Memorial Park, Lafayette.
