William Chan Obituary

WILLIAM "BILL" CHAN Age 93, passed away peacefully August 13, 2003. He was predeceased by wife, Queennie. Beloved father of Evelyn Wong (Roger) and Shirley Lee (Hugh). Also survived by grandchildren, Derrick Wong (Lynne), Julie Noll (Tim, deceased), Terence Wong (Lori), Michael Lee and Corinne Lee (Michael), great grandchildren, Kirk, Kyle and Jonathan, brothers, Raymond Quan (Mildred) and Jack Quan (Daisy). Bill wore many hats in his long lifetime. His favorites were "The Noble's Fez" and golf caps. At his request, there will be no memorial services. His ashes will be entombed with Queennie at Mountain View Cemetery in Oakland. Remembrances may be sent to Chinatown YMCA/Capital Fund, 855 Sacramento Street, San Francisco, CA 94108 or to Wah Sung Service Club/Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 1561, Oakland, CA 94604. His real wish to all who remembers him was "Just Be Happy". Chapel of the Chimes-Oakland "Service of Marked Distinction" 510-654-0123
