William Pelusa Obituary

WILLIAM E. PELUSO, 88, of Livermore died on Tuesday, August 28, 2001. He was born April 18, 1913 in Sacramento, CA. William was the founder/owner of the Blue Dolphin Restaurant in San Leandro, an active supporter and director of the San Leandro Boys and Girls Club, Oakland Chamber Director from 1969-1970, served on the Board of Directors for the Oakland Coliseum, President of the East Bay Restaurant Association, member of the 1983 Hall of Fame for the Alameda County Bowing Association, Director of Bay Bankers of San Leandro, and President of the San Leandro Shoreline Business Association. In his spare time he enjoyed bowling and golf. Mr. Peluso is survived by his wife, Pat of 42 years. He is also survived by 2 sons, William P. of Livermore and terry of Danville; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. at the Mission Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home in Hayward. The family requests no flowers but for memorial contributions to be made to the San Leandro Boys & Girls Club, P.O. Box 234, San LEandro, CA 94577 or Hope Hospice, 6500 Dublin Blvd., Dublin, CA 94568. Arrangements by Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 32992 Mission Blvd. Hayward, CA. 94544.
