Billie Johnson Obituary
Billie died Thursday, November 24, 2011, at Plains Regional Medical Center. She was born June 23, 1929, in Arabela, New Mexico to Trinidad Maez and Lilia Analla Maez. She had been an elementary school teacher, having taught in Belen 11 years and Clovis 23 years. She retired in 1994 at Lincoln Jackson Elementary School. Billie was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include two sons, Frank Johnson of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Ray Johnson of Clovis, New Mexico; one sister, Amy Skeens of Cheyene Wyoming; one brother, Joe Maez of El Paso, Texas; one grandson, Tyrone Johnson; three granddaughters, Michelle, Nicole, and Danielle Johnson; and three great grandsons, Zachary, Ethan, and Greyson Johnson.
Besides her parents Trinidad and Lilia, she was preceded by brothers, Jess, Armando, Eddie, and Jimmy Maez and brother-in-law, Dale Skeens.

Every time I see a Red hat, I think of my Aunt Billie. She belonged to a group of ladies called The Red Hats. When I think of my Aunt Billie, it brings a smile to my face. She had a heart of gold!

My son knew her as "Grandma Billie" at James Bickley here in Clovis. She is such a loving lady and truly cares for all the kids. She will be greatly missed.

Ray so sorry to hear about your Mom Billie she was a great lady. She was so good to me when I worked with her at the main office for the schools when I was in high school and even after I got married and had my daughter . My prayers are with you and your family.
