Billie Wood Obituary
Billie was born January 19, 1935, in Quitman, TX, to Carl Clyde and Minnie Bea (Williams) Thrasher. Billie married Joe Wood on July 18, 1962, in Clovis, NM. She was the owner of Merle Norman Cosmetics for thirty-five years, was a member of the Parkland Baptist Church, and she loved to clean house.
Billie is survived by her husband, Joe, of the home; daughter, Sharon Wilson, of Ringgold, GA; son, Shannon (Kimberly) Wood of Ft. Collins, CO; grandson, Scott (Tracy) Wilson of Ringgold, GA; sister, Carla Bea Downey of Athens, TX, and four great grandchildren, Gabrianna Wood, Genevieve Wood, Avery Wilson, and Elijah Wilson.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents, Bea and Bill Thrasher.
