Deloris Wood Obituary
Deloris was born on May 7, 1930, in Reed City, Michigan to Perry Herring and Tressa Rogers. She married Robert "Woody" Wood on October 1, 1965, in Seward Air Force Base, Tennessee. Deloris was a member of The First United Methodist Church, member of the VFW post 3280 and a member of The Wives Club at Cannon Air Force Base. She was a model in Tokyo, Japan and she designed clothing. She collected angels and bird statues. Deloris enjoyed painting T-shirts and artwork, and she was an active Bowler for Clovis and Portales Elks Lodge.
Survivors include her daughter; Kathy Dee Bull (Jeff) of Santa Fe, NM, grandson; Matthew Robert Russell (Cassie) of Vancouver, WA, brother; Larry Herring (Joan) of Reed City, MI.
Deloris is preceded in death by her husband; Robert "Woody" Wood, parents; Perry Herring and Tressa Rogers, brothers; Perry Herring Jr., Vernon Herring, Dale Herring, Norman Herring, sisters; Myrtle (Sis) Thrasher, Delaphine (Pennie) Russell, Ivoliene (Toots) Todd, Mary Spaugh and Sharon Marcellers.
In lieu of flowers please donate to the American Cancer Society.
