Donna Gayle Doolittle

1954 - 2017

Donna Gayle Doolittle of Broadview, NM died Sunday, October 29, 2017 at the age of 63 at the University Medical Center in Lubbock, TX.
Donna was born September 27, 1954 in Clovis, NM to Joe Roy and Joyce Lee Davis. She married Tommy Doolittle September 14, 1973 in Clovis, NM. She was blessed with two children; Trent (Heather) Doolittle and Shayla (Tim) Slatunas, and five granddaughters; Jayden Slatunas, Payten Slatunas, McKenzie Doolittle, Ainzley Doolittle, and Linzey Doolittle.
She moved to the Broadview area in 2001 where she made her home. She loved the open outdoors where she could play and be with her granddaughters. She loved to garden, work in her flower bed, and be around her animals. Donna was a lifetime member of the 21st Street Church of Christ and a member of Grady Extension Club.
Survivors include her husband; Tommy Doolittle of the home, son; Trent (Heather) Doolittle of Las Cruces, NM, daughter; Shayla (Tim) Slatunas of Peralta, NM, sister; Karen (Greg) Burns of Clovis, NM, and five granddaughters; Jayden Slatunas, Payten Slatunas, McKenzie Doolittle, Ainzley Doolittle, and Linzey Doolittle. She was preceded in death by her parents; Joe Roy and Joyce Davis, and two brothers; Roy Davis and Wayne Davis.
She was loved and will be missed by many.
Services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 21st Street Church of Christ with Cory Burns officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. Cory Burns, Trey Burns, Kyle Burns, Brenden Mehl, Shane Mehl, Billy Hartman, and Tucker Northcutt will serve as pallbearers.
