Jon David Amundson was born December 25, 1946, in Eldora, Iowa to J.O. and Vivian Amundson. Jon left his earthly home in Radcliffe, Iowa, on October 11, 2021, at the age of 74 years old.
Jon proudly served his country in the armed forces serving for 4 years in which time he served in the Vietnam War. Jon loved people and enjoyed long conversations. He was an avid golfer and spent countless hours with friends and family on the Radcliffe golf course.
Survivors include his life partner, Renae Dougan of Radcliffe; two daughters, Donna Jaquess and Brandy Snell; three bonus children, Shawndra Henderson and her husband Chris, Heath Main and his wife Tanya, Jonathan Bohling and partner Kim; twelve grandchildren, Dakota Snell, Skyler and Dustin Cantazaro, Coltyn Jaquess, Scott, Breezy and Levi Henderson, Devon, Kaden, Alexandria and Parker Main, and BayLynn Bohling; ten great grandchildren, three brothers, Ron, Lee and Jim; multiple nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
Jon was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Lois Miles and her husband Gerald.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, November 6th at 11 A.M. at the Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Radcliffe, Iowa.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Radcliffe Friendly Fairway Golf Course, 26814 Co. Hwy. S27, Radcliffe, Iowa 50230 in memory of Jon.
