Patricia Patsy Encinias, 77, passed away on October 11, 2021, at her home in Clovis, New Mexico. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, October 21, 2021, 10:00AM, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 108 North Davis Street, Clovis. A Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted immediately after the Rosary at 10:30AM. Father Sotero Sena will be officiating. The eulogy will be provided by Alex Romero at 9:45AM.
Patricia was born on April 20, 1944, in Clovis, New Mexico to Frank and Angelina Chavez. She married Cipriano Encinias Sr. on May 4, 1963, in Clovis. Patsy worked for Clovis Municipal Schools for many years. She was a substitute for Clovis head start, and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. She enjoyed her daily visits with her brothers and sisters. Her nieces and nephews played a big role in her life, she loved the talks and laughs she had with them. Patsy was the foundation of our family and is going to be missed by all.
Patsy is survived by her children; Cip Encinias (Gina), Susan Prieto, Frances Mason, Carlos Encinias (Valerie), and Ilianna Encinias all of Clovis, NM, her grandchildren; Matthew Encinias (Allison), Stephen Encinias, Christopher Encinias, Luis Prieto (Elena), Jaylen Mason (Danielle Acuna), Jazli Mason, Kalani Encinias, Levi Cawthon, Annaliz "Nae Nae" Encinias, and Aiden Encinias, her siblings; Frank Chavez, Priscilla Romero (Alex), Mary Lou Martinez (Orlando), Manuel Chavez (Priscilla), Arthur Sisneros, Nation Lopez (David), Johnny Chavez (Ruth), Josie Marez, Annie Roybul, Andrew Chavez (Susan), Antoinette Arbogast (Herman), Margie Chavez, and David Chavez (Terri), her great grandkids; Madison, Tatum, Grayson, Ilya, Ella, and her Godson whom she helped raise; Johnny Murphy. Patsy was preceded in death by her husband; Cipriano Encinias, her parents; Frank and Angelina Chavez, and her sisters; Leona Chavez, Diana Bonney, and Gina Gwinn.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Patsy's family. I remember Patsy from Bella Vista. I am grateful to have met Mrs. Encinias during my elementary years. You will be forever missed Mrs. Encinias.

I just wanted to extend my condolences to Patsy family. She was always my friend she was my mom's right hand man (Bella Vista) that's when I got to know her. Whenever Patsy saw me she just loved me so thank you for that Patsy you will be missed.
