A bright light in God's creation left this world Sunday 08/15/2021. Rebecca (Becky) Stebbins Vaughn of Olathe, KS. Becky was born 09/21/1960 in Clovis, NM, adopted by Bud and Sue Stebbins along with her sister Taka. She grew up in Clovis and graduated from Clovis High in 1978. She began her working career for the family business, Magic Steam Laundry. Becky was the proud mother of two sons, creative Michael and brilliant Jonathan. Her real career began when Rev. Terry Anderson hired her as Director of Religious education at First United Methodist Church Clovis, NM. It sparked a love in Becky for finding inspiring ways to bring the word of God to people. She set up programs for pre-K to adult with a special love for adult singles ministry. Becky received an Associates in Psychology from Eastern New Mexico University and a Bachelors of Science in Organization & Leadership from National American University where she later served on the board. Becky was always seeking higher education and a greater walk with God through numerous books, workshops & seminars under such leaders as Rick Hurst, Terry Hershey and Jonathan Sprinkles; where she always left their friend. Becky was an unassuming master of the English language and reviewed books nationally for Adult Christian Singles. She worked for St. Paul United Methodist Church in Amarillo Texas before moving on to become Conference Coordinator for Kansas South East Conference of the United Methodist Church. There she traveled throughout the conference speaking, training and helping churches set up plans to grow. Becky later took a break from working in the church to become a life coach and home consultant for Furniture Mall of Kansas. At the time of her death she was working for US Bank in Olathe, Ks. In Becky's spare time she traveled and competed in disc golf. She loved to watch movies with her boys and was a closet "Siskel and Ebert". Beck was often heard saying " I Love MY Life!"
