It is with great sorrow we have to announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, also known as PaPa.
Ronnie was born July 3, 1947, to his parents, Earl C. Scott and Wanda B (Ward) Scott in CLovis, NM, where he lived most of his life. He was ther oldest son and was followed by a brother, David and a sister, Sharon.
Ronnie married Sharon K. Reid in 1964 and they celebrated 57 yrs of marriage. Born to this union were two daughters who were the light of his life, Jackie Lynn Jouett (Mike) and Dironda Leann Walley. They had five wonderful grandchildren, Larry Stapp (Rebecca), Sherri Gomez (Johnny), Randy Stapp (Callie), Ashleigh Garcia (Chris), Ronnie Walley (Liz) and two step grandchildren, Erica Walley (Tarah) and David Jouett. These grandchildren gave him 12 great grandchildren. Ronnie is also survived by his brother in law, Raymond Reid (Rita); sister in law. Gerry Cress (Tom); and sister, Sharon Askey.
Ronnie started going to work with his dad at Alexander's Market when he was 6 yrs old. He learned how to sack groceries and later stock selves.
He kept this job until he went to work for Swift. While at Swift he went back and forth to Eastern NM University and received his degree in Accounting.
He then went to work for ENMR Telephone Coop. He was hired to be the Assistant Manager of Accounting. While working ENMR he was taught how to climb a telephone pole. He was a knowledgable employee in all aspects of rural telephone coop's.
He retired from ENMR after 27 years of employment. He enjoyed his job and all the people he worked with.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Wanda; brother, David; and son in law, Bob Walley; and his in laws, Raymond & Dorothy Reid.
We will have a celebration of life in Clovis, NM at a later date.

My heart felt sympathy to the beautiful family of Ronnie Scott. I had the pleasure of working with Ronnie for many years because he was the manager that was generous enough to hire me. He etched a notch deeply in my life with his easy going character and propensity to always share what he had with others. Congratulations to Ronnie and his early promotion to a better place!
