Thomas "Tom" Crowder, 67, passed away October 17, 2021, in Amarillo, Texas. A memorial service will be held Friday, October 22, 2021, 10:00A.M. at The Muffley Chapel, 1500 Thornton Street in Clovis, New Mexico. Larry Mitchell will be officiating.
Tom was born February 14, 1954, to the home of Roy Douglas & Jean Marie Crowder in Clovis, New Mexico. In August of 1976, he met the love of his life, Stephanie Hairgrove. They were married December 31, 1976, in Clovis, New Mexico. Thomas and Stephanie made their home and raised their children in Clovis. Tom and Stephanie have three children, Brian, Brittany, and Brandie, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way.
Tom worked in construction most of his life and enjoyed being a handyman. He had a kind and giving heart and was willing to lend a hand to who ever needed help. He never expected anything in return.
He loved spending time with family and friends and being around his grandkids. He always took the time to make each one of them feel special.
Thomas loved to go hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He cherished the time he got to spend with his son, brothers, and friends on the many trips he took.
Thomas is survived by his wife; Stephanie (Tuffy) Crowder of Clovis, his son; Brian Crowder (Jennifer) of Clovis, Daughters: Brittany Aguilar of Ruidoso, & Brandie Roberts (Jared) of Amarillo, Grandchildren: Madyson Crowder, Mayson Crowder, Maylon Crowder, Dalton Roberts (Azelin), Zachary Roberts, Alyssa Roberts, Marley Aguilar, and Hayle Aguilar. His brothers, Randy Crowder (Susie) & Jay Crowder, his sister Carol Stidham and beloved dog; Baylee.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Roy & Jean Crowder, brother; Paul Crowder, and 2 grandchildren: Brieanna & Vincent.
