Funeral services for Patsy Ruth (Lynn) Richie, 85, were held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Eastside Freewill Baptist Church in Muldrow. Burial followed at Roland City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mrs. Richie was born on Feb. 14, 1940, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Elsie and Bernice Lynn. She passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025.
She was married to Jim Richie on Aug. 4, 1956, in Fort Smith.
She was a member of Eastside Freewill Baptist Church, employed by Garrison Furniture for many years and the co-owner of J&D's Convenience Store in Muldrow. She loved going to garage sales.
Survivors are her husband, Jim "Dude" Richie of the home; three daughters, Vickie and Dee Cassady, Barbara and John Trammell and Teresa and Ray Watts, all of Muldrow; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Carroll Lynn of Conroe, Texas; and several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Wanda "Lucille" Martin and Belva Roam; and brother, Sonny Lynn.
Pallbearers were JJ Johnson, Larry Dyer, Mark Goembal, Tyler Sixkiller, Dale Franklin and Gary Whisenant.
Honorary pallbearers were Todd Butcher, Bill Westbrook and Jerry Jordan.
