Edward Morrison Obituary

Morrison, Edward Lee 70, of DeLand, Florida, formerly of Elgin, Illinois, passed away at 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, October 24, 2012, at Florida Hospital DeLand. He was born on April 14, 1942, at Elgin, Illinois, to John Earnest Morrison and Mildred M. Morrison. He was an over-the-road truck driver for more than 30 years, retiring from Crete Carrier Corporation. He is survived by his wife, Mavis Morrison; sons, James Edward Morrison, Kevin Dean Morrison, Richard Ellis Morrison, Christopher Lee Morrison; daughter, Kasey Lynn Morrison; brother, Richard E. Morrison and wife, Levena; sisters, Barbara Brimm and husband, Buddy; and Sandra Rakow and husband, Donald; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, niece and nephew. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Lynn Denise Morrison. Following his wishes, cremation has been accorded and private memorial services and inurnment will be held in Florida. Lohman Funeral Home in DeLand, FL handling arrangements.

Richard,Barbra,Sandy and Mavis We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Ed. When we could, Georgia and I spent time in Florda with Ed. Ed and I would play golf,Ed Mavis and Georgia and I would go to flea markets and spend time on the beach in Daytona. I will miss my great friend Ed.
