Harriett Zickur Obituary

Harriett L. (Kunde) Zickur passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2006 at the age of 81.

Born March 4, 1926 at Union, IL to Albert and Laura (Janke) Kunde. Harriett was a graduate of Marengo Community High School, Marengo, IL. She married Dale F. Zickur on September 2, 1946 in Union, IL. Harriett was a professional homemaker, raising eight children through her carreer. For the past twenty years Harriett resided in Lee, IL. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Lee and will lay to rest by her husband's side at the First Lutheran Cemetery in Lee.

Harriett is survived by sons, Dennis (Julie) Zickur of Elgin, IL, Dean (Cynthia) Zickur of Hampshire, IL, and Darrell (Marilyn) Zickur of Rochelle, IL; daughters, Connie Hanson of Richmond, IL, Coral (Michael) Sanders of Rochelle, IL, Carol (Robert) Bowser of West Brooklyn, IL and Cathy (Michael) Gonzalez of Harmon, IL; grandchildren, Michael (Raquel) Hanson, Mark (Deonna) Hanson, Joshua and Jacob Zickur, Steven, Brian and Jonathan Miller, Garrett, Grant, and Austin Zickur, Amy (Jacob), Tiffany and Brandan Sanders; step grandchildren, Raquel (Jason) Matuzewski, Amanda and Ashley Cramsey; great-grandchildren, Michelle, Dylan, Autumn and Amber and step great-grandchildren, Tyranny and Joseph and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Leo; sister, Alta; husband, Dale; and daughter, Cindy.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 20, 2006 at Jacobson Funeral Home, 303 North Illini, Shabbona, IL from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2006 at First Lutheran Church, Hardanger Gate Dr., Lee, IL at 10:30 a.m.
