Ruth Hulke Ruth Hulke, age 90, of Elgin passed away Friday, November 27, 2009. Ruth was born July 31, 1919 in Elgin to Charles and Bertha Medro Maas. Long standing member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Elgin. Married her husband, Stanley on April 2, 1948. Worked at Illinois Tool Works until her retirement. Survivors include her daughter, Pat Rasmussen; her two sons, Terrence (Sharon) Hulke and Charles (Bonnie) Hulke; two grandsons, Gregory (Jennifer) Hulke and Charles (Megan) Hulke Jr; her two granddaughters, Samantha Aljet and Erin (Phil) Stachowiak; two step-grandsons, Daniel (Kristie) Wheeler and Ryan (Vanessa) Wheeler; two great-granddaughters; and one great-grandson; and six step-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband in 2005; her infant brother; and her parents. Funeral will be Tuesday, December 1, at 11:00 a.m. at Madison Funeral Home. Pastor Martin Balzar officiating. Burial will be in the Dundee West Cemetery. Visitation Monday, November 30, 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Madison Funeral Home.
