Angela Marie Quintero-Salazar, 55, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully at Elkhart General Hospital at 9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 22, 2021, after a long and hard-fought battle with cancer.

She was born Dec. 27, 1965, in Elkhart.

Angela is survived by her mother, Sue (Hepler) Forrest, and step father, Rex M. Forrest, and sons Daniel Brandon Santistevan and Derrick Michael Santistevan, all of Nappanee; grandchildren, Kinsley, Brecken, Presley, Paxton and Ashton; as well as many cousins and many friends who love and will miss her.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Kim Edwin Huber; a sister, Leah Ann Adams; and her father, Lamar Edwin Huber.

Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for a later date.

Memorial gifts may be directed to the family to assist with funeral expenses.

I miss you so much my lovely Angela...u really are an Angel now , it´s not gonna be the same without you here always scaring me with those random unexpected loud noises you somehow started my gullible jumpy butt with every single chance u could. You always, even when no one else could....put a smile on my face or get me to laugh . I miss our singing and dancing and just being there for one another even our 3 separate unknown hospital stays on the same floor at the exact same times? Lol, I just so so genuinely miss you babeour friendship meant so much to each other because you and I never let anything come between us no matter what and we promised to never lose our love and trust for each otherThanks you my love, you couldn´t have been a better friend and sister to me life just won´t ever be the same with you, you´re so special to me you´re my best friend and I promise to remember you always ,you will never be forgotten, I love you, fly high sissy I hope Heaven is everything you ever dreamt it would be and more See you soon beautiful Angel and I just know and truly felt when you gave me that very powerful and beautiful bright sign that you were ok and at peace.. I was able to get a great photo of the event and will always remember it, love ya Picture is posted on here for Ur Son´s and family and friends to admire as well

So sorry to hear of Angie, she was a strong woman who fought a hard battle . I'll miss her so much!! I would share some memories, but there's way to many and not enough paper love ya momma sue, please let me know if I can help out in any way.
