Betty J. McCuddy, 94, of Jimtown, passed away at 7:35 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021, at Miller's Merry Manor in Wakarusa, Indiana.

Betty was born on Oct. 20, 1927, to Millard and Helen (Schrock) Frank in Elkhart, Indiana, and graduated from Jimtown High School in 1945.

On Oct. 28, 1946, Betty married Raymond McCuddy at Jamestown United Methodist Church. They lived their entire 75 years of marriage in the Jamestown area and attended Jamestown United Methodist Church. Betty was a longtime secretary at Jimtown High School. She was also active in Homemakers club and Pinochle Club.

Betty loved to cook and enjoyed entertaining her family and friends in her home. Betty and Raymond enjoyed Sundays at Shavehead Lake with family and trips every summer to Bear Lake. They wintered in Fort Myers Beach, Florida, and enjoyed dancing together.

Most of all, Betty loved her family; she enjoyed her children and grandchildren's activities and attending all their sporting events.

Betty is survived by her loving husband, Raymond McCuddy of Jimtown; two sons, Steve (Meg Sauer) McCuddy of Osceola and Tom (Brenda) McCuddy of Jimtown; seven grandchildren, Jeanna McCuddy, Jamie (Don Gates) McCuddy, Justin (Michelle) McCuddy, Sean (Jen) McCuddy, Ryan (Rachael) McCuddy, Aaron McCuddy and Sara (Corey) Rohl; seven great-grandchildren, Andrew, Ryan, Julia, Jordan, Gaby, Ethan and Mason; and one sister, Margaret Neely of Elkhart. Mrs. McCuddy was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Frank.

Friends and family may call from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 30, at Jamestown United Methodist Church. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Ed Fisher from Jamestown United Methodist Church officiating. Graveside services will follow at Olive West Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Betty's name can be given to Jamestown United Methodist Church.

Arrangements are with Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Wakarusa.
