Carolyn Tasich Obituary
Carolyn M. Goldy Tasich, 40, of Granger passed away on Jan. 17, 2024, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.
Carolyn was born on Oct. 2, 1983, in Elkhart, Indiana, to Gregory and Nancy Goldy. She married Djoko Tasich on Nov. 8, 2003, at River Oaks Church in Granger, Indiana.
Carolyn graduated from Elkhart Memorial, Class of 2002. She graduated with her associate degree in nursing from Bethel College and her bachelor's degree in nursing from The University of Alabama. She was a surgical nurse at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Indiana. She enjoyed reading and listening to music. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. She truly loved being a mother to her son Tobias.
Carolyn is survived by her husband Djoko Tasich of Granger and their son Tobias; her parents Gregory and Nancy Goldy of Elkhart, Indiana, and her brother Nicholas Goldy of Indianapolis, Indiana, and her extended family.
Visitation will be from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024, at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514, where funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. with Pastor Tyler Downing officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to Djoko for their son Tobias. Online condolences may be made to her family at www.stemmlawsonpetersonm.com.
